The Virshields Kids medical mask is a class I medical device and consists of three layers of nonwoven fabric, in the form of spunbond-meltblown-spunbond material
The inner layer is a non-woven fabric that absorbs moisture, including moisture produced by the user. The outer layer is hydrophobic to protect the user from splashes. The filter layer in the middle is the most important part of the medical face mask, as this layer provides a barrier against germs
In addition, the mask includes a full-plastic nose clip (90 mm) and ear loops (3.2 mm elastic) to adapt the mask to the face of the user
Due to the pleated design, the mask can be individually adapted to the user's face shape
The medical face mask is classified as type I according to EN 14683:2019+AC:2019
